Role Playing Group

Our clinic offers a therapeutic approach to support participation in role playing games.

Quest

This role-playing group for our younger adventurers provides an opportunity for each child to engage with their peers in a collaborative group experience. The narrative is led by a guide, who presents the characters with scenarios in which a response or action is needed, and each child's character helps to shape the narrative with their unique choices! This group will foster development in language, narrative, and social pragmatic skills, areas of executive functioning, such as sequencing and planning, shared attention to the ideas and experiences of others, collaborative problem solving, and regulating through feelings of excitement, worry, and frustration.
